From the author: This is usually where authors and editors post rave reviews from other people who probably don’t matter, but I’m not going to do that. I’d rather you read it for yourself and decide if you like it or not. I like it. I think it’s pretty funny. It’s also kinda heartbreaking, but then I talk about FRIENDS, so it all levels out. Most of all, it’s honest. It's honest about everything. From growing up in the Bible belt, to what it's like to feel different and then how I became comfortable in my own skin. Ryan Brinson grew up in Dallas, Texas and now lives in New York City. He is the creator and Editor-in-Chief of BLEEP Magazine, an online creative culture magazine which serves as a hub for all types of artists. Once he wins the lottery or gets hit by a cab and collects from the city, this bio will be much more interesting. Just wait.

To really understand someone it's best to "walk" in their shoes. Beautiful book. Brinson takes you along the ride as he grew up in "The Bible Belt" while trying to figure out who he was and what he wanted out of life. Well written and very relatable!. love hidden Russian art. Great job, Ryan.. An honest and personal tribute to Brinson's first 30 years. Ryan does an excellent job of allowing his readers to walk in his shoes, and at the same time gain a perspective that has a way of hacking away at old prejudices
