This is a good companion book for someone wanting to read the entire narrative on the Klondike and Gold Rush era, which shockingly seemed to rise and fall within a handful of years. He also goes deeper into the material than other books. The creation of new categories is well-covered in other books, but I guess Aaker's contribution is to tout the creation of a sub-category from an existing category. It may not be the end all books on Wisconsin's history, but by reading this book one comes away with a feel for what the Wisconsin experience was all about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) Unfortunately only the first few pages depict cats in Paris, the rest of the book is disappointing and none of the pictures have anything to do with cats in Paris, and the quality of the art deteriorates at this point too..
