A new novel in New York Times best seller Eric Flint's science fiction Jao Empire series.
It has become clear to both the Jao and their human and Lleix partners that if they are going to defeat the Ekhat who have been terrorizing the galaxy for eons, they need more allies. To that end, Preceptor Ronz, guardian of Earth and greatest living strategist of the Jao, has harnessed the energy of Earth's humans to create and send out an exploration fleet under the command of Caitlin Kralik.
But after a long search, all the expedition has found are dead worlds and now-extinct intelligent species slaughtered by the genocidal Ekhat. Do they continue to search down the galactic arm in which Earth and the Jao worlds lie, or do they make an astounding leap in another direction? I bought the book to have better knowledge of the marine life in Galapagos without spending a lot; it has a fair amount information and descriptions about the aquatic life along with great pictures. It is just amazing that He chose to "show it off" in the very first chapter of the Bible! I am not quite sure just how theologians and scientists have missed this over the centuries, but neverthelessHERE IT IS FOR ALL WHO CARE TO SEE!. "The $1000 Challenge," the first book by Detroit News columnist Brian O'Connor, is a funny and engaging read. It's a good read for all aspiring young adults and older adults whose plans are to attain excellence in what they do; not minding whatever challenges they face in the course of achieving their hopes and aspirations. An eye opener to a totally different view of the Palestian/Isralie conflict. Tigar writes about his defense of Terry Nichols in the Oklahoma City bombing trial, much of which he covers in his other (also very useful and well-written) books
