The Memory Tree
Through his interactions with family and friends we become enthralled with the many twists and turns this journey takes and the lives of the people we come to know through the artful story telling of this new author. I so enjoyed this book, even though I am older than the intended audience, that I couldn't put it down. Plus, if you have truly come to terms with your disease, you want to let the world know that it is possible to live a somewhat normal life, if you're willing to work at it. I read well into the wee hours of the morning because I simply had to discover, did they or didn't they and I was not disappointed. While I DO agree with him somewhat, I want to know what I did at 11 years old to create panic attacks?? But .
that is not the issue. Very easy to read and understand. Cliff, the tennis star who won many games back in the 1970's, had his own mental illness to deal with. I recommend it.. These things are portrayed – and very well- by Pat Ganahal in his new book:
