Alasdair Allan is a senior research fellow in Astronomy at the University of Exeter, where he is building an autonomous, distributed peer-to-peer network of telescopes that reactively schedule observations of time-critical events. He also runs a small technology consulting business writing bespoke software and building open hardware, and is currently developing a series of iPhone applications to monitor and manage cloud-based services and distributed sensor networks.
This book was AWESOME and I highly recommend it to everyone! There are fourteen ba-zillion thousand places online (or at the local feed store) to get ample free information on the basics of starting chicks, but this book goes way beyond & helps explain why keeping chickens is so fascinating. This is my first book written by KG MacGregor. Same can be applied to calculus: integration and differentiation link to functions like Log, exponential, trigo, etc.
Although he didn't elaborate on Syllabus C (out of his life / book context), but I would presume he had predicted the Bourbaki school of Math based on Set Theory as math structures. Vos' "The Child's Story Bible" entirely in one sitting. Dark and intriguing. I still mourn for the loss of Cordy, Fred, and Wes and find it hard to swallow the loss or corruption of someone who I grew attached to but I am also appreciative of a story that pulls no punches and is not apologetic as it allows things to carry forward as they must, rat
