One great success of this book is that it does not avoid the moral ambiguities of the time. It looked fine to me. Kris Rusch shows her highly regarded fantasy story telling ability easily crosses genres into the historical mystery realm, but what could have been a classic falls a bit short. You simply have to cut the pages if you want to remove them and given the layout of the designs, you will lose portions of them if you take them out of the book. A lot of faith in the author-that he will take you to a REAL conclusion and not just some words on a page. We are always learning more. I found in this novel parellels with today.
