It's a little sad at the end b/c one of my favorite characters died and I was very much hoping they didn't. No spoilers from me but what it all boils down to is simply a magnificent science fiction adventure that finally culminates into a sweet romance with a heartwarming conclusion.
When reviewing a book, there are several questions I always ask which determine my rating. When he was seated on the train, his imagination began to swirl and he placed himself smack dab in the middle of the story. But this novel does succeed in several ways, particularly in showing how devasted the world of the German was after WWI, and it depicts well the political labyrinth of german society before Hitler actually took full power in 1933. Vaughan filled in until Moore returned to finish the series final story. You can flip to any page. and gets 3 stars all
